Kamanche
Behnoosh Behnamnia
was born in 1988 in Tehran, and started playing the Violin in 1997.
Teachers include:
- Asadollah Malek
- Siavash Zendegani
- Masoud Hassankhani.
She began learning the Kamancheh in 2003. Teachers include:
Saied Farajpouri, Ardeshir Kamkar, Darvishraza Monazzami,
Daryuosh Talaie,
Mohammadreza Lotfi.
Currently, she is studying Persian classical Music in College of Fine Arts Tehran University.
She received top ranking (first place) in 6th Javan Musical Festival in 2008 for playing Kamancheh.
Activities include cooperation with the following ensembles:
- The Grand Youth Orchestra (Orchestre Bozorge Javanan);
- Fakhfteh
- Sheyda (Under Leading of Mohammadreza Lotfi).
She has also been playing in Television Orchestra since 2009.
