Simorq composition was completed

Today, the 28th day of August, 2009, equivalent to the Persian date 6th day of Shahrivar 1388, the Simorq composition was completed. Simorq Composition with 1371 bars, in 375 pages, 59 minutes and three seconds came together as love and lover (Zal & Rudabeh) united.

Because of the complexity of the visual poetry of this epic story from Ferdosi’s Shahnameh and the responsibilities of working with composite lyrics from great Ferdosi’s book, it took me over three and half years to complete this collection.

Now that I completed the composition, I must say that if it wasn’t for the passion of performing simorq, I would miss the exciting moments of creating this collection.

Also, I must thank Doctor Mohsen Banaie for his guidance and literary consultant to this project. I am deeply grateful for his help.
