Pouya Sarai
was born in 1983 in Tehran.He studied the Persian classical music at the conservatory of Tehran where he also studies at the University of Art for his PHD.
Teachers: Faramarz Payvar, Javad Bathaie, Pashang Kamkar, Hossein Alizadeh, Daryoush Talaie.
Pooya was nine times nominated for the best sanour solo in the Fajr festival and he owns more than 50 articles about music, philosophy, philosophy of art and discovery of music.
He teaches at the University of Art and Architecture and the University of Media.

Activities: cooperating with ensembles Mehr, Mah, Nahoft, Naghmeye Kimiya,  Afarinesh (under leading of Nader Mashayekhi) and cooperation with Dastan Ensemble in recording of  "In the Name of the Red Rose", a work of Hamid Motebassem
